Straight from the heart of 1985 British fashion, this rare Zack London oversized button-up is a showstopping piece of original street style. Featuring a bold purple and black animal print (purple was THE COLOR that year, just six months after Purple Rain) it was purchased during my junior year abroad in Oxford and worn only a few times. It has been carefully stored ever since. This is not a reproduction. This is the real thing.
Made in England with a fluid, dramatic cut, it works beautifully as a tunic or mini dress. On me (5 foot 2 and 105 pounds), it fell nearly to the knees. On taller wearers, it should hit mid-thigh. HI-lo, before we used term.
Note: This shirt is intentionally oversized. That was the style of the time and part of what makes it special. Virtual modeling apps tend to misrepresent the length and shape. Please refer to the measurements below and feel free to ask for additional photos if needed.
