Sterling Silver Blue Egyptian Scarab Beetle Converted Dangle Earrings

This is a pair of antique Egyptian scarab beetle earrings. These earrings have been converted from clip-on style to a dangle style for pierced ears. The earrings have an Egyptian looking design around a blue carved scarab beetle in the center. I have no idea who the maker of these are because there are no makers marks on them. They do have a 925 silver mark on them. The earrings measure approximately 1.5" from top to bottom and ae 3/4" from side to side. The total weight is 13.4g. They are in relatively good condition with some scratches and dings from normal wear. There is also a good amount of tarnish and a very small amount of verdigris in the crevices. I have not cleaned them so the verdigris may be removable with some work.The scarab beetle inserts are not tight but they do seem to be secure. They just jiggle around a bit. (Bin#MU2)
