Dokorder Reel to Reel Tape Recorder and tapes.
I’m posting this only to see if any serious vintage music enthusiasts lived when reel
to reel recording tapes were hip.
I purchased my Dokorder 8020 new while stationed in Okinawa in 1969 and had it shipped back to the USA when I was discharged in 1970.
The military base had a recording studio where we could dub tapes. Every weekend I would record and
eventually, I ended up with 35 reels of music from many artists.
As a Company Clerk, I had access to a typewriter and cataloged all my music. For example, I pulled tape 33, which you can see in my catalog. Then in each tape I listed all the songs and their artist. No doubt, I had hundreds of hours in the process between recording and typing. Plus adding leaders and auto reverse on each tape
As time progressed, the drive belt on the recorder broke and it has been in storage for years. This is one of my personal treasures and decided it's time to part. So if interested please message
