Observations and notes: Beautiful antique round clock. Watch clocks keep a printed record by means of a key that is inserted into the piece and generates a coded perforation (key) on a paper or cardboard disk.
To prevent the interested party from manipulating the disk (opening the clock and setting the time back or forward) there is a blade that cuts the paper every time the cover is opened (it is on the cover) so that it could be seen if the clock had been opened.
History: In the second half of the 19th century, a new category of mechanical clocks emerged for the surveillance and security sector of buildings and facilities, which reached its peak in the first third of the last century.
